ecoFridge does everything that a diesel system can do and more. To prove this, a full independent test was carried out by the Government –approved test centre, Cambridge Refrigeration Technology. Two identical trailers, one with diesel, one with ecoFridge were put through their paces over a two day period.
 
The test summary said:
“Overall, the ecoFridge system maintained a tighter temperature spread at the given set point temperatures and operating modes used during the trials.”
 
The report also concluded:
“In terms of fuel consumption, at the given fuel costs, ecoFridge is cheaper to run.”
