HOWARD PEDOLSKY RESIGNS FROM UKRAM BOARD OF DIRECTORS Howard Pedolsky, former the CEO of Ukram Industries from 2000 - 2008 and most recently a consultant to the company, has resigned from the Board of Directors. The company produces a nitrogen - powered transport refrigeration system, under the ecoFridge brand name. Mr. Pedolsky no longer has an active role with Ukram Industries or the ecoFridge brand. ecoFridge is the first transport refrigeration system to operate with no moving parts, no harmful emissions and absolutely no noise. The system provides more operating benefits than a diesel unit and costs up to 30% less to run. The system can achieve pull-down to set temperature 70-80% faster and it is virtually maintenance free. With the effects of climate change featuring heavily in the headlines the development and promotion of cleaner energy and transport technology has become of utmost importance. Noise pollution too, is a major issue particularly for people in urban locations who endure the sound of vehicles delivering to retail locations at all hours of the night. The ecoFridge refrigeration system from Ukram Industries addresses both of these concerns and is set to revolutionise how temperature-sensitive goods are transported around the world. Commenting on his appointment Tom Roller said: “I am very pleased to come on board with this rapidly expanding company at a time when the market is seeking to reduce carbon emissions and lower operating costs. The unique ecoFridge product offers the transport industry a highly efficient temperature controlled solution which not only eliminates carbon and noise pollution but also dramatically reduces costs – which in the current economic climate provides a major commercial advantage.” ecoFridge has been fully ATP certified and has no operational safety restrictions. Many food transporters around the globe are already looking to ecoFridge as the only viable transport cooling system which can combat high fuel costs, noise and carbon emissions. |
